Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper

5:30 pm  to 7 pm 

All you can eat Pancakes, also scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, orange juice & beverages

All are welcome!
ADULTS $6.00, KIDS 2-5yrs $3.00

Shrove comes from the word "shrive", meaning to absolve, Shrove Tuesday is observed by many Christians including Anglicans, Lutherans, Methodists and Roman Catholics who "make a special point of self-examination, of considering what wrongs they need to repent, and what ammendments of life or areas of spiritual growth they especially need to ask God's help in dealing with".

Midday Said Mass - 12:10 p.m.
Evening Mass - 7:00 p.m.


The ashes symbolize the dust from which God made us.
As the priest applies the ashes to a person's forehead he says: "Remember that you are dust, and unto dust you shall return."

It is a day of sorrow for sins or faults
